They all promised a lower base price than Avis, but the price with fees was much higher. I was going to decline and just go with the car we reserved, but the agent expanded that these fees would be added on to the Avis rental also. He explained that the corporate websites usually don’t account for the local fees. I was suspicious of shenanigans, so we took a few minutes to regroup.

Getting to the Rental Car Lot
First off, the rental car lots are not in the airport itself. You need to take a shuttle bus sometimes a few Km from the airport to complete the rental car process. There will be plenty of agencies when you are walking out that will direct you to their shuttles.
The shuttle ride took about 20 minutes, but we had to wait an additional 15 min for the shuttle to fill up.
